This is a 1982 tall rig, fin keel 25ft sailboat with a good 150% jib on Harkin roller furler and 2 main sails (one 3 years old), good running 9 hp two-cycle outboard, VHF radio, Danforth anchor, new tiller, Danforth bulkhead compass and Norcross Hawkeye depth sounder, and a 2-axle PullRight trailer with surge brakes.
As our first "big" boat, it was perfect for learning how to sail and it is in great shape. Since we bought it 3 years ago, the standing and running rigging have been replaced, wiring kit, lights, antenna, and Windex installed on mast, brass thru-hulls replaced, all plastic water and drain lines replaced, water tank removed, cleaned and sterilized, porta-potty added, Whale pumps overhauled at both sinks, Sunbrella sun guard strip added to jib, and main rigged for double jiffy-reefing. The boat is currently on the trailer and ready to go at the Corpus Christi Municipal Marina with refinished brightwork, polished stainless stanchions and pulpits, and a new bottom job.
In our 3 years with the boat, we spent many enjoyable weekends on it. The alcohol stove works great and there is room for a couple to be perfectly comfortable.
